Recently, the Access Offshoring (AO) team returned to a place that holds a special place in their hearts—Little Lights Ministry, located in one of the most economically disadvantaged areas of Metro Manila, Philippines. This marks the second year Access Offshoring has partnered with Little Lights to bring support and joy to children and their families in the community.
Little Lights Ministry is a non-profit organisation focused on improving the lives of children in Metro Manila’s poorest areas. Through educational programs, nutritional support,and community activities, they aim to bring hope and light to children growing up in challenging circumstances.
The Little Lights Ministry is dedicated to uplifting children living in poverty, providing them with educational resources, meals and a sense of hope. For AO, the opportunity to contribute to this mission, aligns with our commitment to not just benefiting from the incredible talent in the Philippines, but also giving back in meaningful ways.
During this visit, the AO Team brought along healthy meals and groceries for the children to take home to their families. We also organised a day filled with games, laughter and shared moments, ensuring that the children felt seen, valued and cared for.
Reconnecting with the same children supported during last year’s visit made the experience even more special. The smiles, hugs and excitement from the kids highlighted how impactful these visits are not just for the community but also for the AO team.
Led by Tiffany English, Director of AO, accompanied by Darlene Motil and Rhoane Manalac, the team expressed how deeply touched they were by the resilience and joy of the children, despite the challenges they face every day.
“This experience serves as a powerful reminder of the incredible impact we can create when we unite to support those in need. Giving back to the community is a core value for AO, and visiting Little Lights is both humbling and inspiring, showcasing the difference we can make in our wider community. It’s always the highlight of my trip to the Philippines,” shared Tiffany English.
The team’s time in the community was not only about providing tangible support but also about forming genuine connections. Through simple acts of kindness, we were able to create lasting memories for the children, and for our team.
