FAQ's

Your offshore team member will align with Australian public holidays based on the state of your head office. This means that if it’s a regular working day in your state, your offshore team member will also be working.

The working hours of your offshore team members can be tailored to suit your business needs. Generally, they work from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Australian Time, accommodating the time zone difference between Australia and the Philippines.

Your offshore team member is entitled to 20 days of annual leave and 5 days of sick leave per year. It’s important to note that if an offshore team member leaves your company, any accrued annual leave will be paid out to them as per the employment regulations.

In addition to their salary, your offshore team member receives a comprehensive benefits package. This package includes a 13-month entitlement, insurance coverage, and a pension plan. These benefits are fully loaded into their salary, ensuring their financial security and well-being.

All offshore team members will work from their home offices. This allows us to recruit the best talent and ensures the ongoing fees are cost effective.

All IT Hardware is provided by Access Offshoring (see full list below). You simply need to arrange any security and software as required by your organisation.

  • Laptop (Intel i5 or AMD equivalent with 16GB RAM)
  • Standard Keyboard and Mouse
  • 21” Monitor @ 2
  • Standard headset

Access Offshoring will deliver all IT hardware to your offshore team member approximately 3 days prior to their start date. During this time you are welcome to liaise directly with your new offshore team member to set up all security and software requirements so they are ready to start from Day 1.

Recruitment lead times heavily depend on the role and experience required of the candidate. On average, most clients can expect a 3 – 6 week recruitment period. Keeping in mind, on top of the recruitment period your new offshore team member will likely need to render 30 days notice.

Like Australia, all Philippines staff have a 6 month probationary period (referred to as regularisation). During this period both you and the offshore team member are able to give one week’s notice. If this happens in the first 3 months of commencement, Access Offshoring will re-recruit at no additional cost.

Following the probationary period, performance management is required. Rest assured, Access Offshoring is here to manage this process alongside you if it is required.

There is a small upfront Talent Access Fee. Please refer to the latest agreement for pricing.

Once your offshore team member commences, you will receive a pro rata invoice for the balance of the month. Following, you will receive an invoice on the 1st of every month for the team members salary, benefits and Access offshoring’s Management Fee. This is issued in Australian dollars with GST.

All payments are required through direct debit. This will be setup once the agreement has been signed and is required prior to recruitment commencing.
