Australian businesses already hiring this way
Sound familiar?
Business owners tell us the same three things every week.
Still waiting for the right applicant?
The role stays open, the work piles up, and your current team covers the gap.
Hired them, trained them, lost them?
The training time and cost leave with them, and you start the search again.
Still doing all the admin and all the calls yourself?
The work that grows the business waits while you handle tasks someone else could.
Join the webinar and we’ll show you how businesses solve each one.
What a $90,000 hire costs the business
Each layer is a cost on top of the salary. For a Queensland business above the payroll tax threshold, a $90,000 office hire costs about $110,500 a year, before you count a desk or office space.
All figures in AUD, per year, for a full-time office role in Queensland at 2025–26 rates. Chart not to scale. *Payroll tax applies only if your total Australian wages exceed your state threshold ($1.3m in Queensland). Leave loading includes super and applies where an award or agreement requires it. Workers’ compensation, equipment and software are typical estimates. Business insurance varies by business and isn’t included in the total.
- Salary$90,000
- Super at 12%$10,800
- Payroll tax (QLD 4.75%)*$4,852
- Equipment and software~$3,000
- Leave loading (17.5%, where the award requires)$1,357
- Workers’ compensation (office rate)~$500

From one offshore bookkeeper to an entire team
Go Figured, a Brisbane bookkeeping practice, couldn’t find the skilled staff it needed locally. Kelli Beauchamp started with one offshore bookkeeper to test the idea. It worked, and now they’ve built an entire team that works as part of the practice.

With offshore staffing, you hire a dedicated team member who works only for your business, as part of your team. We handle the recruitment, HR and payroll.

Most of our team members are in the Philippines, working Australian business hours. Many Australian businesses hire staff in the Philippines for skills, English and time zone overlap.
Do I need to download anything?
